It is so much easier than lugging around a notebook, yet big enough and powerful enough to do all of the essential computing I need to do when I am away from the office. What Do I Use It For?

I am an animator by trade, and I travel from one coast to the other nearly every week assisting the up-and-coming animators in my company. The Slate has an incredible touch sensitive screen, though when I am animating I generally turn it off, because Windows 7 struggles with “palm rejection,” meaning the operating system cannot separate my hand resting on the screen from the digitizer pen. However, this is a minor inconvenience to such a powerful and effective tablet for animating.
